You don't need a designer to order from us, and you don't need a print-ready file. Every file is set up for print, we fix what isn't print-ready, and if you have no file at all, we can design one for you. Design work itself is charged.
Every order
Every file is set up for print before it goes near the press. That means:
- the cut line drawn around your artwork;
- the white ink layer worked out for Clear, Holographic, Glitter, and Chrome;
- the bleed extended, so color reaches the edge;
- a check that nothing important sits where the blade cuts.
Setting a file up this way is part of preparing any sticker.
When your file needs work
Files often arrive with problems, such as a background that should have come off, or type that was never outlined. We fix what can be fixed and show you what changed on the proof.
Redrawing a low-resolution logo is always extra. A logo pulled off a website at screen resolution has too few pixels to print sharp at sticker size. Redrawing it is design work, charged through the Custom Designed Sticker or a quote for design work. See blurry or low-resolution artwork.
If a file is too soft for the size you ordered, we tell you before printing, not after.
When there's no file
Tell us what you want and we'll design it through the Custom Designed Sticker, which shows its First Order Design Fee on the product page. A rough sketch, a photo of the old sticker, or a sentence describing it is enough to start. For design work on any other product, reach out for a quote.
What we won't do
We won't print someone else's copyrighted artwork without permission, and we can't design a logo you don't have the rights to. If a design is licensed to you, tell us. We also refuse hateful or illegal content. See what we won't print.
The proof is the agreement
Whatever route your artwork took, it ends the same way: a proof showing what will print, including the cut line. On trade stickers, stickers we design for you, and roll labels, nothing prints until you approve the proof. On other stickers, sheet labels, and Window Cling, if we haven't heard back from you 36 hours after we send the proof, we may go ahead and print what the proof shows. Reply, or ask us to hold it. Either way, the production clock starts at approval, not at checkout, so answer your proof promptly.
Stickers and sheet labels ship 3 to 5 business days after approval, roll labels 5 to 7 business days, and trade stickers take 4 business days of production. Shipping time comes on top. Rush is available for a fee.
Changes after approval
For 5 minutes after you approve, "Change My Answer" on the proof page lets you take the approval back yourself. After that, tell us as soon as you can. Approval sends the job to production, so a change may not be possible. Once the order is printed, a change means a reprint, which we quote before anything happens. See making changes after you approve a proof.
