Yes, on Clear, Holographic, Glitter, and Chrome stickers, where white is printed as an ink. Not on white vinyl. On white vinyl, the white is the material itself, and we never print white on white, so an all-white design has nothing to print.
What happens on white vinyl
You'd get a blank white sticker in the shape of its cut line. The outline of your design survives as the edge of the sticker, but everything inside it, such as letters, lines, and gaps, disappears.
To keep white vinyl, give the white something to sit against:
- A colored background built into your file, behind the white artwork.
- A dark outline drawn into your artwork, around the design or the lettering.
- A colored version of your design. Many logos have a dark version for light backgrounds; that one prints as it looks.

On Clear: white ink on see-through film
A white logo or white lettering on a clear sticker works well, and it's the usual way to get a white design on a window or a dark surface. The white is printed as a layer of ink, and the surface shows everywhere else.
On the "White Ink Backing" question, choose "Full Base" for an all-white design. "None" and "Partial Base" both leave the white areas of your artwork as bare film. Your proof shows where the white goes.
White ink is one layer, so it doesn't block light completely. With strong light behind it, such as a lit window at night, it can look slightly see-through. Is white ink completely opaque? explains more.
Try it
This view opens on Clear with Partial Base, where the white parts of the artwork come out clear. Switch to Full Base and they print white. How to see what's inside a sticker explains every control.
On holographic, glitter, and chrome
An all-white design prints, but the white ink covers the effect. It comes out as a white shape, and the effect shows only where no white is printed. If you want the material to show, a printed outline with the material left bare inside usually works better. Setting up artwork for Holographic, Glitter, and Chrome explains the options.
Checking it before you order
A white design is hard to see on a white screen.
- On white vinyl: the optional "Live Sticker Proof" can show it before you order. Upload one design, press "Draw It Now" in the "See Instant Sticker Proof" box, then set "View On" to black or the checkerboard to see its edges.
- On Clear, Holographic, Glitter, and Chrome: check your emailed proof. White you see on the proof is white ink, and "Show White Ink" lays solid white over the places it goes.
Clear or white vinyl helps you choose between the two.
