How many stickers should I order?

Order as many as you'll hand out, ship, or apply before you'd want to change the design. Then check the calculator at two or three quantities, because the price per sticker drops steeply as quantity grows.

Order as many as you'll really use before you'd want to change the design. Then look at the calculator at two or three quantities around that number before you decide. The price of each sticker drops steeply as quantity grows, so the next step up often costs only a little more in total.

The minimum is 25 of a design on stickers, and 100 of a design on roll labels. See the minimum order.

Start from the job

  • Giveaways and events: about one per person you expect to meet, plus extras for the people who ask for two. Running out at the event is worse than a box left over.
  • Packaging and thank-you stickers: one per order you ship, times the number of months you're happy to keep the design. Count how many orders went out last month.
  • Products you sell: start smaller than you hope to sell. Your first run tells you which designs sell, and you can reorder those without another proof.
  • Labels for products: one per container, for a batch or two, plus a few spares for crooked applications.
  • Equipment and service stickers: one per unit, or one per visit if the sticker records a date.

Why not order the smallest number?

Every design needs the same setup whether you order 25 or 2,500: the file prepared, a proof, and the press and cutter set up. On a small run, that setup is a large part of the price, which is why 25 stickers cost far more each than 250. See how sticker pricing works.

Why not order thousands?

  • The design changes. A new logo, phone number, price, or season turns a box of stickers into a box of old stickers.
  • Stickers need storing. They keep well when stored properly, but they aren't meant to sit in a drawer for years. See storing stickers and labels.
  • You haven't seen one yet. On a first order, hold a sticker in your hand before you commit to a large run.

Not sure yet?

Try a smaller first run, then reorder. An exact reorder of approved artwork skips the proof round, so the second order is faster than the first. Or start with the 15 Custom Sticker Sample: 15 of your design on white vinyl, to check the size, color, and finish before you order in quantity.

If you have several designs, Custom Stickers take them in one upload: you order one total and split it between the designs, with no minimum per design. See ordering several different designs.
