In most trades the surface problem is dust. In hood cleaning it's grease, and a film too thin to see is enough to stop adhesive bonding.
For 5 minutes after you approve, you can press "Change My Answer" on the proof page yourself. After that, contact us right away. Approval sends your order to production, so there's no refund once it's approved, and a change after printing is a reprint we quote first.
Yes. Our stickers are sealed under a gloss or matte laminate, so rain, splashes, and washing won't hurt them. Waterproof doesn't mean indestructible, though, and paper roll labels aren't waterproof.
Apply at room temperature wherever you can. Cold adhesive barely flows, so a sticker pressed onto a cold surface sits on it instead of bonding. Once it has bonded, cold weather doesn't bother it.
Every file gets looked at and set up for print. Beyond that, we fix what isn't working, and if there's no file at all, we design it. Redrawing a low-resolution logo is design work, and always extra.
A QR code scans when it's big enough for the distance, has clear space around it, is dark on a light background, and has been tested on the proof. All four are settled before printing.
Warm it with a hair dryer, then peel it slowly, folded back almost flat against itself. Isopropyl alcohol takes off most leftover adhesive. Our standard vinyl is made to peel off cleanly.
Clean the exact spot with isopropyl alcohol, apply at room temperature, hinge the sticker on from one edge, and press the edges hard. Then give it 24 hours before it gets wet and 48 hours before anything scrubs it.
