CBD, smoke, and vape labels: common questions

Compliance text prints down to 6 pt, High-Tack Stickers hold on textured tins and tubes, and every unit can carry its own batch code. The minimum is 25 of a design on stickers and sheet labels, and 100 on a roll.

Can you print the compliance text small enough to fit?

Yes, down to 6 pt, or 8 pt for thin (light or script) fonts. Send the wording at the size your regulator requires. Your proof shows how it lands, and we'll flag anything that won't hold up before it prints. We print the text you supply, so check the rules for your product and where you sell it. Will the label stick to a small tube or a tin?

On a tight curve, size matters most: measure the flat area before the surface curves away. See labels for tins, tubes, and tight curves. Smooth metal takes a label well once it's wiped clean. On textured or powder-coated tins and some plastics, standard vinyl can struggle, and High-Tack Stickers are the usual answer: the same print with a much stronger adhesive.

Can a label show that a package has been opened?

Yes. A label across the opening has to tear when the package is opened, so a torn label shows it. A perforated tear line makes that tear clean. We add one on request: ask us before you order, tell us where the tear line should fall, and we'll quote it.

Can each product carry its own batch number or QR code?

Yes. Prices are for print-ready artwork. If you'd like us to add QR codes, barcodes, or numbering, we can help, so reach out for a quote. Send the data as a spreadsheet, one row per label. Test your codes from the proof, because a QR code pointing at the wrong address is expensive to find after a long run. See variable data printing.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes: 25 of a design on stickers and sheet labels, and 100 on roll labels. That makes a small batch or a test-market product easy to order.

Will the label survive handling and pockets?

Yes. Our vinyl and our BOPP roll labels are laminated, and the laminate resists scratches, moisture, and handling. UV light is what fades print over the years, and a product in a pocket or on a shelf gets little of it.

How quickly can I get them?

Stickers and sheet labels ship 3 to 5 business days after you approve your proof, and roll labels 5 to 7. Rush production is available for a fee. Everything is printed in Durham, North Carolina, and shipped across the US and to Canada.
