One design, every number
That's variable data printing: the same artwork prints with a different number or name on each sticker.
- Sequential numbers: tell us the first number, and we count up from it for the quantity you order.
- A list of names, such as room types, floors, or departments: send it in a spreadsheet, one row per sticker.
- QR codes and barcodes: these can go on each sticker too.
Our prices are for print-ready artwork. Adding numbers, names, or codes is an artwork change. We can help, so reach out for a quote.
Design for the longest value
If the space fits "7" but the building goes up to "Room 214B", the long ones won't fit. Lay the design out with the longest value in place.
Your list is the source of truth
We print what's in the spreadsheet. A room typed twice is a room printed twice, so check the list carefully before you send it.
Size for the distance
People read wayfinding while walking, from farther away than you'd think. Numbers need to be larger than they look on a screen. Hold a ruler against the door before you decide, and choose dark type on a light background, which reads better in hallway lighting. What size should my sticker be? can help you choose.
The surface
Painted doors and frames take our standard White vinyl well. It usually peels off cleanly when the numbering changes, though removal can lift weak paint. See stickers on painted walls. Textured or powder-coated surfaces need High-Tack Stickers, which are harder to remove and can leave residue. Think about that before you put them on a door you'll renumber.

The minimum is 25 of a design, and a numbered run counts as one design. Stickers ship 3 to 5 business days after you approve your proof. Rush is available for a fee.
