Because we never stretch your design. We fit it inside the size you enter at its own proportions, so one side meets your size and the other follows the shape of your artwork. A design taller than it is wide, ordered at 3" × 3", comes out about 1.9" × 3".

How size is measured
A sticker's size is measured across its cut line, on the longest side. The canvas around your design doesn't count, and neither does empty space in your file. A 3" sticker is 3" at its widest point, whatever shape it is. The sticker size guide covers choosing one.
Getting both sides you want
If you need a sticker exactly 4" × 2", the artwork itself has to be twice as wide as it is tall. There are two ways to get there:
- Change the design to that shape. Add background, space, or a border so the artwork is the proportion you want, then send it.
- Choose a shape. A rectangle, square, circle, or oval is cut to the size you order, with your artwork placed inside it. Choosing a sticker shape compares them.
Check it on your proof
Your proof shows the finished size, measured the way we cut it. If the size isn't what you meant, say so before you approve, and we'll change it. What to check on your proof lists the rest.
