Rooftop units, coils, chilled lines, and sweating surfaces: where HVAC stickers fail, and how to choose ones that don't.

Clean the exact spot with isopropyl alcohol, apply at room temperature, hinge the sticker on from one edge, and press the edges hard. Then give it 24 hours before it gets wet and 48 hours before anything scrubs it.

Our stickers last 3 to 5 years outdoors before the print starts to fade, and considerably longer indoors. Sunlight is what fades print, so a sticker in the shade lasts longer than one in full sun.
