Do you make tamper-evident seals for takeout?
Yes. A seal goes across the opening of the bag, so the bag can't be opened without it showing. A perforated seal tears instead of peeling off whole, and the tear is the evidence. We add a perforation on request: ask us before you order, tell us where the tear should fall, and we'll quote it. Keep type clear of that line: a perforation is a row of holes, and text on it loses parts of letters. Tamper seals for takeout has more.
Will labels stick to a paper bag, a cardboard box, and a plastic tub?
Usually, yes. Standard vinyl handles paper bags and coated boxes well. Plastic tubs are harder: many are polypropylene, a plastic that resists adhesive, and they're often a little oily. For tubs and anything rough or textured, High-Tack Stickers use the same print with a much stronger adhesive. Test them on your own containers. If labels have lifted at the corners on one container, High-Tack is the fix. See why stickers don't stick to some plastics.
Can I get allergen or dietary labels I can apply as I go?
Yes. Sheet labels suit this: one design repeated across each sheet, peeled off as you need it. Each allergen or diet is its own design, with a minimum of 25.
Can we write the order number or time on them?
Yes: choose the matte finish. On roll labels, matte is the one to write on, with a pen or a permanent marker. Writing on a gloss roll label scratches off with a fingernail. On stickers and vinyl sheet labels, matte takes a ballpoint pen as well as a marker, and gloss takes a permanent marker. If the number should be printed instead of written, we can add sequential numbering: reach out for a quote.
What is the minimum order?
25 of a design on stickers and sheet labels, and 100 of a design on roll labels. That makes a seasonal special or a one-off event sticker easy to order alongside your everyday labels.
Will they survive a freezer?
Yes, once they're on. Cold isn't what wears out a sticker or a label. Ultraviolet light is, and takeout packaging sees very little of it. The laminate stands up to moisture and handling. What matters is how the label goes on: adhesive bonds poorly to a cold, hot, or wet surface, so apply labels to clean, dry packaging at room temperature. Stickers in the freezer and fridge has more.
How fast can we get a reorder?
An exact reorder of approved artwork skips the proof round, because the approved artwork stays on file. Reorder from your account with "Order This Again". Stickers and sheet labels ship 3 to 5 business days later, and roll labels 5 to 7. Rush is available for a fee.
